Terms of Use

The plain-language rules for using Snapframe — a free, browser-based screenshot editor with an optional $12 one-time Pro upgrade.

Last updated: June 2026

1. The short version

Snapframe is a browser-based tool for turning screenshots and images into polished visuals. The core is free to use. You can optionally unlock Pro with a single $12 one-time payment. By using Snapframe you agree to these terms.

2. Your licence to use Snapframe

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Snapframe for creating images — for both personal and commercial projects. The images you create are yours. We claim no ownership over your content or the visuals you export.

3. Pro upgrade

Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. Paying once unlocks Pro features (such as no watermark and high-resolution export) and includes future Pro features. Your unlock is tied to your browser. Because Snapframe is a digital tool delivered instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable — but if something goes wrong, contact us and we'll do our best to make it right. See the pricing page for current details.

4. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details. By purchasing Pro you also agree to Stripe's terms. Prices are shown in US dollars and may change over time, but a change won't affect a purchase you've already made.

5. Acceptable use

Please use Snapframe responsibly. You agree not to:
  • Use it to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, deceptive or harmful content.
  • Process images you don't have the right to use, or that violate someone else's privacy or intellectual property.
  • Attempt to break, abuse, resell, or reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent the Pro unlock.

6. Your content and privacy

Your images are processed locally in your browser and are never uploaded to us — so you stay fully in control of your content. For the full picture, see our Privacy Policy.

7. No warranty

Snapframe is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. You use it at your own discretion.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Snapframe and its maker are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the tool. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (which for free use is nothing, and for Pro is the $12 you paid).

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Snapframe evolves. When we do, we'll update the date below. Continuing to use Snapframe after a change means you accept the updated terms.
